I would like to say a couple of things about my parents, my mum is eighty five and stepdad eighty nine, both reasonably fit except mum has a breathing disorder and stepdad is riddled with skin cancer but despite this they still get out and about.
Mum goes line dancing every week, stepdad plays golf when he isn't having lumps cut out of him , it seems though for every growth taken two grow back but he is a fighter.
They like to go on cruises, last week they did a mini cruise to Holland, they went and saw André Rieu in concert as this was on their bucket list of things to do, they loved it but said it took a lot out of them .
If I reach their ages I wonder if I'll be jetting off to see a rock band performing, I doubt that very much.
