A lesson which brought A 'CHANGE' in Me
#writcostory
Few months ago,I was feeling relieved and was relaxing as if I was graduated. But the Truth was I had only passed my first semester examinations of my 11th standard😂😅.

So while I was sitting free,I reminded myself that I had lot more stuff to study and this wasn't the end.

But I was reluctant to study a complicated subject,so I decided to read my English Textbook.

I was flipping pages, until one chapter caught my attention. It was an interview of sir J.Krishnamurti. I usually am not interested in reading interviews but I don't know what happened to me that day.

So I started reading and after reading the very first page,I was just another human having a different sense of thinking.I was kind of satisfied, happy, relieved all at once

Now I'll tell you what i read.
(Not exactly the words which were imprinted in the Textbook, but what I remember)

The very first question of the interviewer was"The world is full of callous people, cruel people , selfish people,So how do we change this world?"

The answer by sir J.Krishnamurti just left me with awe.

He said,"You say world is full of selfish, cruel, callous people, you ask me how to change this world?.Tell me are you free of selfishness, aren't you somewhere cruel? Before thinking of changing the world, change yourself."

"Make yourself free of all the vices you have within you. Then take a step forward to change the world."

He even gave more amazing answers to the questions further asked by the interviewer but this one Is still permanently imprinted in my mind.

And whenever,I have some not so good impressions about someone,or think they are selfish and cruel and judge them,I just remember those words said by Krishnamurti sir.

This amazing thought even inspired me to write a poem titled,'CHANGE'.

Yes it happens that before looking within ourselves,we start blaming people. We often hear these phrases, 'The people in the world are not selfless', 'Bhalai ka toh zamana hi nahi raha' which means there is no Goodness it today's time. But this shouldn't be the case. Before We utter these phrases from our mouth. We should ask ourselves,'Am I full of goodness.', 'Is it that i don't have any vices within me?'.

Briefly, i can say the words said by J.Krishnamurti sir that Before you change the world, change yourself.

Till now am not able to fully practice this thought into reality, but at least whenever I remember,i try.

And i am sure even you can.

It is indeed difficult, but not really impossible.
