The car sped through the dark night, it's headlights flashing, warning the incoming traffic, the driver, a young man in his twenties looked like he saw a ghost as he tried to manipulate the wheel, with thousands of thoughts running through his mind, after what felt like ages, he finally slowed down and parked the car at the corner of a dark road, he put off the ignition and stepped out of the car, he looked straight ahead and felt a bit of relief when he saw the rope, the one he has been climbing for years. He moved swiftly towards the rope and held on to it tightly as he tried to use it to climb down to wherever he was going. Suddenly, the rope felt light like it had been cut, his heart started to beat very fast 'oh no' he said 'but you promised never to let me go' but whatever or whoever it is he was talking to had apparently turned it's back on him. as he climbed back up using the same rope, he fell to the ground and weeped like a baby as he remembered his friend's words to him before he left that night... 'Duck, what do you think you're doing? you can't possibly go out there and take what's not yours. I won't let you back in if you go after it' he had ignored his friend and climbed up the rope to search for his treasure, the fancy car! he had seen a couple of it pass through them as he and his friend lay beneath the earth and he had wanted one for himself, thinking it was going to be an easy task, he had jogged to town barefooted and demanded that an innocent man give him his car, of course the man wouldn't have it, it had turned into a real struggle and he had unintentionally murdered the man, not knowing what to do, he had left the man there and jumped into the car and drove as fast as he could to the abode he shared with his friend, Dasiy.... and now he was here alone lying on the sand with the song of regret playing in his mind, he had let his greed get in the way, he, Duck had lost a friend and killed a man all in one day! 'I should have listened to Daisy' He cried as the sirens wailed in a distance, they had come for him!!!
