The Draca Chronicles: Origins (Chapter 2: The Coming)
Draycon's Cross
Now Dray went to a school built by Draycon. It was designed for teaching young vamps their abilities. Humans where allowed into the school as a front but the vamps had special classes. Set it so that only the insanely rich, like the vamps, could take them. For the humans benefit they had a secret set of classes for them separate from the vampires, like gym and others like that. Some they shared with the young vamps, like math and other normal classes that they didn't have to show their strength or speed in. They all start at kindergarten around age five the last year of the school is senior in high school, for the humans. If your vampire you could spend your whole life learning in that school. It was a good and stable environment for young vampires and for humans alike, aside from the humans frequently complaining of lost hours were they had been feed on and had not known it. There were other problems of humans seeing something they shouldn't and having to have that part of their memory wiped. Female vampires were only aloud to learn the basics how to feed, how to use telepathy on humans, that such. they were not permitted to learn to defend themselves for fear they may use it against the males. So they took basic vampiric training and human classes and that was it. They were aloud to learn as much as they wanted about the humans. Till the males had use of them.
There where also wiccan classes set up. Which where open to all student except females. Though for the humans they had to have a note signed by a parent. Where as the vampires could just learn. Most just forged the note, which was allowed. In that class one could learn about anything. There was another class for advanced magikz but you had to complete all of grade school of Wiccan studies and wiccan practices before you could take it and you still had to take them while you where taking advanced magikz. There was also the class that just for studying the wiccan Gods and Goddess. It could be taken at any time during the year as long as it was at the beginning of the semester and you were either taking wiccan studies, wiccan practices or or advanced magikz. Though teachers rather like it if it is taken with wiccan studies. Last but not lest there is Herbology. Which is to be taken at the beginning of the year once you get into the sixth grade and shall continue to take the class till you graduate the school and move on to better or worse things. This went for the humans and the female vampires as well. See vampires don't have anything to fear from poisons for they are immortal so they didn't worry that the females would use anything like Foxglove on them.
Birth
Draycon has always been an evil man and it is because of this the family has been split. They split into two factions. One is smaller and a lot weaker then the other. The first faction is the Black Cross of Draycon they follow Draycon's will religiously. The second is against everything that Draycon was. They are named for Drayconia's mother though for the longest time she never new what her name was till she saw it on the family tree. Suri's Prayers, the name was later changed to the Suri's Tears, is what they call themselves. The black cross has a habit of stealing women it doesn't matter if they are married. They where raise to believe women don't have rights they were there for men to do with as they please. Most in the black cross didn't even care if they were related. Draycon practiced this often. Drayconia was his favorite. The moment Draycon got her pregnant they whisked her away and locked her up until she gave birth. They read her journal often to see what she wanted to name her daughter, for men were no good with naming things. They thought hers and Draycon's coupling was a powerful one and where not gonna let her keep the child. The name Dray had desided on for her daughter was Konna. She thought it was pretty. She was thrown out of the family house after that. They wanted the child to have no contact with her mother, for Dray was of the Suri's Tears faction. She'd always been of the Suri's Tears for she hated Draycon and after looking on the family tree she found the faction was named for her mother.
After a few years on her own to her estimation Konna would be turned three soon. She met a guy named Kimmuriel Dreanyn. After being with the guy for a year he leaves her preagnent. with twins no less. She named the girl Drizza Dreanyn and the boy Zaknafein Dreanyn. Dray and her twins moved to a hidden place in a forest near a backwoods town in the middle of no where. She did this to protect Drizza and Zak from Draycon and the rest of the Black Cross.
The War
Draycon had a nasty habit of stealing away woman from neighboring regions also. Well he ended up taking a woman of great importance and those who cared for her immobilized a war against the town of Draycon's Crossing. Any woman they found was ushered out of the city were as all men were destroyed on sight. Those woman who resisted where knocked out and forced to leave. The Suri's Tear's Faction disappeared as if they were never there. Just waiting for their enemy to be completely annihilated so they could pick up the pieces and rebuilt in the name of Lady Ardeth and Lady Suri. When the dust had settled the Suri's Tears faction came to confront the solders. There was a lot of tension in the air but seeing as the faction did not participate in the bloodshed and had the captive women in question with them. The solders called truce and peace talks began. The solders found out that Suri's Tear's had undermined everything that was the Black Cross. Going as far as to leak out information about new woman having been brought to the city against their will. The solders knew they had gained the information second hand and that it had leaked out some how but they did not know who the villagers could have angered so. The solders also found out that Draycon himself was assassinated two years ago by someone from the village itself. Only one of the Suri's Tears Faction knows who exactly did it and none of them were saying a thing. The solders noticed a three year old little girl with the group who didn't seem to fit in. when asked about her the faction simply said, "she was the granddaughter of the woman we named this faction for."
