SHADOWS
It is the hour of the shadows, their time to rise and rule the night. He is afraid of the concequence but he has no other option but to do what he had to. He walks slowly, frightened to his wits but he has a mission that has to be fulfilled at any cost.

He trembles with fear, his heart beat accelerated. He wipes the thin sweat trickling down his forehead. Reassuring himself that everything will turn out just perfect, he picks up his bag pack and continues with his journey.

The solemn soldier arms himself with courage but the forest doesn't offer a good welcoming. The screeches, the shaking of the bushes, the funny sounds, the howling of the wolves. The wolves were the most feared in the colony. He feels their presence
and he is aware of what they could do if they laid their hands on him. He was too valuable to be caught, he took to his heels,he had to be quick. Times wasn't smiling at him.

He ran as fast as he could into the thick parts of the forest. From a distance he could sense its precense. He had arrived at his intended destination. The foul air,the beautiful moonlight it was the perfect time.  He took out his equipment and got to work.

Digging up old graves wasn't going to be easy but that didn't bother him at all. Six feet, five feet, four feet, three ,two, one, finally his efforts paid he hit a something solid something that wasn't mud or clay something else, something like wood. The smile on his face was crystal clear. It symbolised one thing, success.

The wolves were gapping in. They were comming in numbers and they were comming fast. He too was aware.

He knew that they would arrive in no time so he had to hurry. It reached a point where he saw that the spade was slowing him down . He threw it aside and started digging with his bear hands.

With no time he reached the coffin. Tears of joy trickled down his cheeks. He did it! He stroked his white hair as he wiped his pink face.

“A lonely little peasant like you shouldn't be out here in the forest alone.....” the leader of the pack said as they shape shifted into humans. He walked slowly towards its prey with a smirk on its face, his claws out and his canines ready to pierce flesh.
