The parcel that had arrived today, contained an old key and a list of instructions to use it
Dr. Shambu was reading in his study room, when Mr Gopal brought him a parcel . The parcel had old key and a letter with a set of instructions. Dr. Shambhu was stumped for the first time, while Mr Gopal was sure he has seen this key or atleast the lock that can be opened with this key. Let's see a brief introduction about them.
Dr Shambu is one of most famous archeologists , Scientist and social activist. He thought living with the nature is the perfect way to live. However,he needed some materials for his research, which were available only in town. So he lived in the Semi-urban area, which had connect with the nature and facilities of a town. He was nearing his 40's and was not married and was accompanied by a male Servant who was nearly his age.
Mr Gopal, was the Male servant. Unlike, Shambu, he was married in a small age. He had a son and Daughter. They were married and living with their mother , spouses and children in the city. However, Gopal didn't not want to leave his hometown, so choose to employed in the service of a Scientist. He had only less work to do, as Shambu did most of his works.
Shambu and Gopal shared a good friendship,to overcome the feeling of loneliness. They would discuss about any scientific or archeological wonders or petty things at times. Mostly Gopal would be a spectator, at times when he share his knowledge it will be something related to one which is passed on to his family over the generation about the hills or forest near to their hometown.
Dr Shambu always received letters from all over the World. He would reply to them to most extent. However, some letters were strange with odd keys maps etc, which seems to be sending on a false treasure hunts. Some even say, that artifacts are found in a location, which had huge volcanic activities. Thus leading to expedition which are dangerous or based on false facts or both.
However, this letter seems to make more sense than the other letters received by him. Also, Mr Gopal was able to identify the key and lock for which it's used. So this old key and letter containing instructions cannot be ignored. So Shambu, decided to give some time on examining the old key and the letter, before coming to a decision that following the instructions in the letter or even deciding on whether following the instructions in the letter would be in the best interest.
Dr Shambu felt that Mr Gopal spoke about the old key with delight, but there was little tremble in his voice at some point. At the time, when mentioned the lock, he eyes were with raw terror as if remembering something bad. When Gopal was confronted about these and asked if there is any problem, he seems to have no recollection or even had the idea that he felt fear. Dr Shambu felt, that something from the past of Mr Gopal relating to this Old key,lock and letter is bothering him. So he kept them away from Gopal, not to further alinate him.
The most important part of the puzzle, who sent this letter. The letter was sent by Dr Vidya, who was old colleague of Dr Shambu ,who Mr Gopal has never heard of or met. Dr Vidya and Dr Shambu shared love interest without the other knowing about it. They had lost in touch several years back, but he knew that she would never involve in feverish activities like Treasure Exploration. She never visited this town, as he had nearly came to this town, after parting ways with her. The most mystery of all, the letter mentions Mr Gopal's full name, only a few people including him knew . It was just signed as Vidya(without the last name) but it had no writing style followed by her, it was as if written by someone else .
A few days, Dr Shambu felt he should consult someone to make a decision. So, he summoned Mr Gopal. Mr Gopal came confused, as it was afternoon and Dr was usually writing or reading in his study room.
Dr Shambu looked at Mr Gopal with calm eyes " Mr Gopal, please take a seat. I want your expertise"
Mr Gopal sat in the chair opposite to Dr " Dr Sahib, did you want to know about the key and the padlock"
Dr Sahib replied " No Gopal, I want to hear about your childhood days"
Mr Gopal said " Dr Sahib, I remember the key and the padlock that opens it from my childhood. My father and some of the men built a valut , when was a child. I remember this key to open some doors related to that vault, but I don't know which one or it opens the vault itself"
Dr Sahib replied " It doesn't open the vault, it may have a scofisticated lock. This key may open the entrance to where the Vault is placed" Dr suddenly realised the importance of the vault being built in a forest, he has been searching for such a vault. However he never thought it would be closer to home than he expected. Mr Gopal never talked about this , he would speak about the forest but carefully avoiding talking about a section of the forest.
Dr Sahib " Are you saying, your father was part of the team that built the Sead Valut" and paused
Mr Gopal added " Yes, Dr Sahib, we also used to call them Valut of Life and Death"
He further added " I never told you this before,as my memories were in the subconscious mind. But I remember it now, as I saw the key and the letter also mentions my full name"
Dr Sahib chided "Mr Gopal , I know your full name is Mr Gopal Ramchandra DasMukh the first time I met you. I also only few people know your name."
Mr Gopal was alarmed " Dr Sahib, did you visit the Seed Vault. Because it's written only in that Vault and I have never mentioned my full name to anyone ever."
Dr Sahib realised that he may have visited the Vault, but how did have no recollection of the events. He never understood,why he ended in this town or why he lost in touch with Vidya Sri Soundarya aka Keerthi several years ago.
Dr Sahib added " I lost in touch with a person I loved, all I now have is a key and letter that leads to a forest treasure. for which I have no interest"
Mr Gopal comforted Dr , which confused him, " Dr Sahib, you are here only for the 3 years. "
A voice bellowed " It's true, Dr Sahib. you are only here for 3 years. I said the key and the letter to make you remember things and fix your life. It's least we can do for you have safeguarding our treasurer and saving lots of lives. But if you don't remember within next month, you may lose your lover for Good"
The person who said, came into view. He looked like a forester, dressed in strange clothes and was tallest in any place he would visit .
He bellowed " My name is Deo. I am one of the Guardians of the Vault of Life and death. I am here to help recollect your memories, reunite with your love life and get back your life"
Dr Sahib asked " Won't it affect the secrets of the Vault and cause any harm. what if , losing my memories was part of the solution in safeguarding the Vault"
The guardian replied " Your sacrifice safeguarded the Vault. Despite this, the Vault is exposed to the danger of being exposed. So the least, we can do is reunite with your lover. if possible seek your help in Safeguarding the Vault. This time we are prepared, you or anyone else won't be affected"
The guardian now tensed on hearing the footsteps outside the home . He quickly cautioned " No one can be trusted for now. especially " and paused and said "blue eyes" and breathing out slowly and rushed out silently.
The person came inside was the Postman . He had blue eyes.
Postman gave the letters and said " Dr Sahib, you look little tired. you should take rest , to take care of your health. "
After getting the letter to be posted and delivering the letter. The Postman Sundar asked the question
" Dr Sahib, who is that villager outside. He asked to protect you and to be beaware of people with Green Eyes."
Dr Sahib was confused, the person who asked to be vigilant and not to trust anyone had literally revealed himself to a unknown person. What just because he had blue eyes."
The Postman ," I will leave now. " His eyes turned to Green then to blue again. He apologized " I am sorry , Professor,I got tempted by the treasure. It won't happen again"
Dr Sahib wondered how one's eye change from Blue to Green, when they got greedy and how would they see that transition. How did Sundar know about the treasure.
The Postman suddenly got confused and saying " Dr Sahib, did I deliver the letters. I Got drowsy. "
Dr Sahib replied "You have delivered the letter and got the letters from me" and asked " Did you notice the villager outside"
Sundar replied "I never noticed anyone outside. Infact, I was sleepy from the time I delivered the letter to the previous home, till the time I am in your home"
He Apologized and greeted Mr Gopal, as if seeing him for the first time today and left with a slight headache.
Why did Sundar behave strangely, and why did he call me Profesor in the middle. His symptoms are now consistent with the person being hypnotised. Was there another person apart from the guardian, who hypnotised the postman.
How did he Solve the Valut puzzle first time?
Why did he lose his memories about the event?
What is the reason for losing touch with Keerthi?
What is reason for the Vault being exposed now?
How he would solve the riddle again, without suffering the same fate?

Dr Sahib felt a breath coming from his back. When did Mr Gopal went to his back. Maybe, when the strange Guardian scared him.
Mr Gopal came to the front and murmured " This is just the beginning Professor."
Dr Sahib " What did you say Mr Gopal. Why did you call me Profesor"
Mr Gopal felt as if he was jerked by a invisible " I don't know Dr Sahib. I felt the need to call you Profesor and give this message"
Just the questions are keep on adding and no answer to be found
A strange man , took off from the distant trees opposite to Dr Shambhu house murmuring " We will meet again Profesor, you shall receive the message next time. Then you will pay for your actions" He seems to vanish into thin air
The guardinan felt the stranger is both right and wrong, as he had complete confidence in Dr Sahib, that he come without scatch. Dr Shambhu will not be just a Profesor but The Dr Sahib loved by all.

Dr Sahib us odored by a people belonging to a certain civilization, who are protected by a group of people called guardians. what is the relationship between the guardians, this civilization and the Vault need to be seen. Did the part of people in this civilization become greedy , creating danger to the entire civilization.
Can Dr Sahib, Keerthi, Gopal with the help of the Guardians able to protect the Civilization from itself ie from the greedy people and also getting them to the right track. Only time and tide will answer this question.
