There lived a boy named David. He was a quiet in behaviour and was loved by every
teacher. He had never done any mischief in his life. Once he was promoted to class seven,
he noticed a girl sitting at the extreme end of the corner. Her name was Scarlett. She was
totally different from David. She used to bunk the classes, argued with the teacher, etc.
Only thing that kept her different from the rest was her charming beauty. Every one of our
school had fallen in her love. David also liked her but because of his impression in the class
he was unable to speak to Scarlett. David was becoming depressed day by day. He used to
think only about Scarlett and no one else. He used to dream about her. But because of his
reputation in the class, he was unable to do so. He was also afraid that she might reject him
because he had a dark complexion unlike Scarlet who was of white complexion. Every day
he used to think about the plan to impress her, but her friends never gave him a chance to
do so. One year passed on like this, now David thought to tell his feelings to Scarlett
without any fear. So, he went to her and said,” I love you”. David started telling all his
feelings to her, but Scarlett did not pay heed to his statement. She told David,” How can
you even think about loving me, I have many boyfriends.”. David became incredibly sad
and depressed. David went back home and without talking to his mother, he went inside
his own room. He was crying by seeing Scarlett’s portrait. From the next day, he even felt
insulted even by standing near her. David could not even focus on the lessons because he
used to see Scarlett all the time. He used to share his feelings with his beloved friend John.
John was the only one person who used to listen to David. John knew the feeling of a lover
because once he also had a crush on someone, but the same thing happened with John
too. David was becoming weak from inside day by day because Scarlett used to ignore him
and used to talk with other men in front of him. He had once planned to suicide, but he
stopped because of his parents. He knew that if dies, there will be no one to look after his
parents. He thought many times to call her, but his insult stopped him to do so. Now he is
in class ten, but still love her but as a one-sided lover.
