​Once upon a time there lived a man named Joshua.He lived with his family in Bethlehem.He had one son and one daughter.His son's name is Mathew and his daughter's name was Mary.Joshua was a shepherd.He was very poor.One day he became very ill, the family does not have enough money to treat him.Later that evening he died because of severe illness.

Before dying Joshua said to his wife to look their children carefully and make them to get a proper and good work after saying this he died.After his death his family became very sad.Joshua's wife took all efforts to make her children to get proper education, but she died because of jaundice.Now Mathew and Mary became alone.They suffered in loneliness.Mathew left his education and saved an amount of money for his sister to get an proper education.

Mathew showed his kindness to her sister and looked her carefully.After many years Mathew and Mary became into an adult Mary had finished all her education.Her ambition is to become a doctor, so she moved out of Bethlehem to get this job.Mathew waved his hand to his sister saying goodbye he asked his sister to be careful.

After his sister left the place Mathew's eyes filled with tears now he became alone.Two years went by a letter was came from his sister in that letter "My dear brother I have got a job I have treating so many people with happiness.How are you brother?I missed you so lot.Please come here brother as soon as possible".

After reading this Mathew became happy and now a man was shouting and coming on the way that "All people listen our king has given a order that if any man come with us to discover our Almighty he will be rewarded with a precious gifts from our king".

After hearing this None of the people in Bethlehem came forward to join but Mathew decided to go with them to see god.Mathew went to the King's palace to tell that he will join in journey with them to see god.King made all arrangements to their journey.Mathew started his journey.After a long time journey he became tired they had some water and food in the next town then they continued their journey.

On that night they reached a desert they slept on the sand.In the next day morning they continued their journey again but of severe hotness in desert one of the soldier became unconscious and had fallen down.Mathew found out that of insufficient of water he had became unconscious and he asked for some water to give to him but the soldiers refused to give him water.

They continued their journey after some hours of journey they saw a lake situated in the desert all the soldiers wondered how the lake situated in the desert.Later the soldiers ran towards the lake to get some water after they go near to the lake they realized that it was a mirage.All the soldiers became angry except Mathew.

They continued their journey.After many hours many of the soldiers died because of severe hotness and insufficient water.All the horses in which they came is also died .But Mathew survived in those situations and he finally can't control his hunger he found a fruit named (dates) on the desert.

He ate it to manage his hunger and said thanks to the almighty....
