INT. CITY HOSPITAL - DAY, TIME- 9:00 AM

We see a middle-aged woman, MISTI MITRA, lying almost lifeless on a hospital stretcher, an oxygen mask covering her face. Gripping Misti's hand, a young woman, TIYA GHOSH, struggles to convey something meaningful.

MISTI (strained): Tiya, will I... (takes a breath) be okay?

Tiya clasps Misti's hand, her voice trembling.

TIYA (pleading): Auntie, you have to get better. (pauses, then with a hint of emotion) Yes, you will get better, for Duti, Bunu, and Mr. Mitra...

MISTI: They've learned to manage on their own. (takes a breath) I feel my purpose slipping away...

Tiya, desperate, interrupts.

TIYA (determined): No, no, you will survive, Auntie...

MISTI: Tiya, promise me... you'll live for this Tiya. At least for Duti, Bunu, and Mr. Mitra...

TIYA (ignoring Misti's plea): No, no, you will live, Auntie...

MISTI: Again with the "Auntie." How many times have I told you to call me...

Tiya, not wanting to hear Misti's last words, insists.

TIYA: Fine, fine, you'll tell them yourself. Just save your breath!

Misti gazes at Tiya with a mix of frustration and affection.

TIYA(trying to reassure): Okay, at least for this Tiya, you have to live. I won't be able to hear anything else.

MISTI: You're saying this again! How many times have I said, Tiya, I'll tell...

Tiya, now ignoring Misti, talks with determination.

TIYA: Alright, at least for this Tiya, you have to live. Enough, I don't want to hear anything else.

Now, we see Misti being wheeled towards the operation theater, Tiya walking alongside, their hands slowly separating. Misti desperately wants to say something more. As they reach the doors, Misti's hand slips from Tiya's. The operation theater doors close, and the screen fades to black.

The word "MISTIR TIYA" is softly animated on the screen.
