The Healing Needed During this Awareness
With all the protesting and video awareness of injustice, you are going to feel a flood of emotions. Just a few emotional band-aids to help you during these times.

-Tune out for a while from the news, social media, online chats.
-Let your intense emotions pass over you. Observe those emotions without interacting with them.
- Sit in silence, calmly, and deeply breathe.
-Actually, thank the emotions for coming to light. Being aware you'll know what you need to address.
-Focus on your forgiveness of yourself and many times you felt powerless to this abuse yourself (watching or receiving).
-Forgive the abusers because they don't deserve any more of your energy. This is essential for your own healing.
- Hug yourself and cry if able. Tears are like a deep emotional wash out.
-Take stock of your now - see, touch, taste, hear, feel. You need that confirmation that from today things will get better cause you rebuke unkindness and then find ways to start with yourself to be kinder to you. Remember, you too have privileges and deserve all God's glory.

The healing is essential to the positive change, white or black. Denial, ignoring, blaming are all tell tales you bottling your emotions and that serves no one.

Many problems start with whites not forgiving there inhumanity and blacks trying to run from theirs both doing anything to numb it deaden these emotions. You avoiding and deny forefathers reality keeps you trapped here. Often in the case of whites denying your confusion that you would be betraying your kin and you have to deny loving them their crimes but really till you understanding and forgive their actions you are not healing or growing better your in a constant pain that burning you up inside too.
In Blacks case running from being black in the hope of easing your pain, having an easier life, denying who you are. Kills your core because the mind is vast but you can't be free of it.

Love is not as conditional as we like to make it seem. People don't have to be perfect to deserve your love. Hence loving your forefather, your oppressors does have to be a contridiction you battle. You also don't have to justify others sins or hate your existence because it was messy. All humans existence is messy. We forgive let go and move on, don't tote that load.

Recognizing injustice and others values that no longer serve you will help you not to commit the same ignorance your forefathers showed. Will help you to stop running and face these feelings and even love you as is . Then you can understand and acknowledge when you are being a racist contributor black or white. You can do better for you.

For things to change we all need to heal and not necessarily together because we may not be ready for that. We need to take on our healing individually giving each other space to face our rage, our shame our forgiveness and then come back together as newly transformed souls.

Here on earth, we make colour an issue but in the next life we are just souls, no frames. There we can only be known by how developed we leave this life force. Do you not deserve to be your best soul on the next side? Do you not deserve to the freedom of being pain free?
