investigating the death of a local computer programmerat awherhouse where he lade ice cold. Christopher Worley uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, app circulating throughout Devon. As soon as anyone uses the app, he or she has exactly 9 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look translucent. A marked person feels like a ice to the touch.

Christopher gets hold of the app, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a grubby frog balancing on an idyllic computer programmer, an old newspaper headline about a drunk driving accident, a hooded teen ranting about the app and a drinking well located in an old-fashioned place.

When Christopher notices hes gettingice cold to the touch, he realises that the curse of the app is true and calls in his wife Brittany Long, to help.

Brittany examines the app and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before her eyes. She finds the grubby frog balancing on an idyllic computer programmer particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Christopher and Brittany pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded teen. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up
