Robbery Gone Wrong
Ndidi was standing by an uncompleted building holding a cigarette as he smoked away. He was a rascal in the community that everyone feared. Ndidi and his gang were the ones terrorising the community and no one could face them not even the High Chief of the community. Ndidi shouted for one of his boys Zimuzo. Zimuzo I hope the plan has been mapped out well. We must hit that new building tonight. We must partake in the merry of the house warming. I hope you know the consequences if we get caught? Ndidi don't worry yourself I have planned everything with the boys. We can never get into trouble because we are trouble and everybody in this community fears us like they fear their gods. So tonight we shall strike the new house Ndidi. Well spoken Zimuzo. As Ndidi was talking to Zimuzo an orange seller walked pass. He commanded Zimuzo to collect the whole tray of oranges. As the little girl saw Zimuzo coming she dropped the tray of oranges and ran in fear for her life. Ndidi laughed sheepishly as they all feasted on the oranges. When it was about 10.15pm Ndidi and his gang suited up as they headed for the house they were going to strike. As they got to the new house Zimuzo knocked on the gate of the compound. He told the security guard that they were the police and they were hired by the owners of the house for protection. The security guard ignorantly opened the gate. On opening the gate Ndidi and his gang stormed in. They tied up the security guard. They went straight for the entrance because they knew the owners would still be up merrying. As they entered the house Ndidi commanded everyone to lay down and face the ground or he would shoot whoever doesn't cooperate with him. Everyone laid down but Chief Mba the owner of the house refused to lay down. Instead he began to recite some incantations. Ndidi commanded him to stop but he refused. Not too long Ndidi's boys dropped their machettes as Zimuzo and Ndidi dropped their guns. After they dropped their weapons Chief Mba handed them brooms and told them to sweep the whole compound. Ndidi and his boys swept the whole compound all through the night. Chief Mba had already alerted the police while they were sweeping. They were still sweeping when the police came to arrest them. Ndidi and his boys were finally caught by the police. They were paraded round Olu community as people made mockery of them. They were made a spectacle for everyone to see. Everyone rejoiced as Ndidi and his boys had finally met their waterloo.
