I blinked as I regained consciousness. I had hit my head hard, or had someone hit me? Then I realised I was holding a bloody knife in my hand.
It turns out that I was the one trying to stab the intruder, which I did, while it led to me being hit hard on the head, now I've a bloody knife in my hand, but the intruder is not to be seen anywhere, and everything's intact as if nothing happened, but then as I turned what I saw left my mouth hanging........
