The Crossroads of Time
In the midst of tracks I stand,
A time-train approaching, mighty and grand.
Two sides before me, hidden in haze,
One leads to joy, the other a maze.
Each rail stretches far into the unknown,
A choice to make, seeds of destiny sown.
Will I board the train to the future so bright,
Or plunge into darkness, fearing the night?
With uncertainty dancing, my heart starts to race,
As I ponder the tracks, a perplexing embrace.
The positive and negative, shrouded in mist,
A choice to be made, a twist of the wrist.
But which is which, I cannot divine,
In this moment of choice, a tangled design.
I close my eyes tight, and trust in my heart,
For deep down within, I'll find where to start.
With courage, I step onto one of the trails,
Embracing the future, whatever prevails.
In this time-train's journey, with fate as my guide,
I'll learn as I travel, with nothing to hide.
