"'Hello...?' Dear are you awake?? You know this is not funny anymore. Do you know what time is it? It's almost 11 am. Time doesn't wait for those lazy butts." "Hmmm... Why do you have to be so loud in the morning? Tom." "Jen you know I love you right?."
And that woke up Jen at an instant with her heart on her sleeve. That question always disturbs her heart. She loves him too much that she's careful with every step.
"Yes honey, I know how much you love me and I love you too. But what is it this time?"
"Jen darling. We are going to settle down soon and I expect you to act like a mature woman who puts her family first. And I've always told you this but again, my parents don't love who wakes up late in the morning."
"well... You know I'm trying my best honey. But also in my defence, I have severe insomnia and I couldn't sleep at all last night. So when the morning dawns I get some few hours of sleep."
"That's why I always told you to sleep early."
"Tom darling I love you but this is a wrong start to our day isn't it?"
"Okay so now you blame me for our fights. You can blame me for everything because I'm always wrong while you're always right. Sorry for calling you and disturbing your sleep. You can go back to sleep." (Jen's response was stuck in her throat because the line went dead)
Jen tried to go back to sleep but sleep was far from her. She tossed and turn and finally woke up to say sorry. But she never could do that because she thought Tom is not understanding her on the other hand, Tom was filled with rage because he love Jen so much but she is not acting like a responsible person. And he waited for her apology text or a call.
Jen went and sat down on my desk and started typing a long apology. She said everything she had to say and her heart felt better as she poured her heart. And finally, she reconciled with her love and was smiling because they are back to square one. And so that's how she saved the file name "Apology 239" and logged out from her computer went back to her bed and cried herself to sleep.
