Do you know that, because of sarah was unable to endure till the time God had orchestrated for them to give birth to the covenant child, she gave Abraham her slave Hagar. Thinking that probably God will through hagai gave her child also.
This is how most of us live our lives today. We try to think for God. Mind you, sarah's Faith is not as of Abraham. But instead of Abraham to make her understand that this is not what God is saying. He also followed her instructions.
Mind you, the mistake Abraham made by accepting sarah plan later fall back on him. According to Genesis 16.5 - And Sarah said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.
Mind you, Sarah who brought the idea also face the consequences because Hagar who was her slave became wife to her husband Abraham and when she noticed that she had gotten pregnant to Abraham, she forget her place and start misbehaving.
Due to this mistake that was made by Abraham and Sarah, another generation was birthed to the world. According to what was written in the scripture in Genesis 16.12 - And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
Our inability to wait till God time can cause us a lot and not just at the present time but also in the future. Because when you look at what was said concerning the child that is to be born by Hagar, God said He will multiply his seed that they will not be able to count them but, he will be a wild boy, always stirring up trouble and even against his family.
I tell you today that, God time is the best. He always have a reason for doing what he does. He never fail nor forget his promise. Believe his word. He is ever faithful.
