true story based on my life "sealife of strong man"
All they see is the nice paychecks, nice trucks, decent home for the family & kids, vacations, our “crazy” goals we’re striving for. How it must be nice to have all these things, and not worry about anything like a “normal” person would.
“What they don’t see, is when we pack our bags with tears in our eyes and our families. When we hug, kiss, and say goodbye to our loved ones. When they beg us not to go, but we still walk out the door. They don’t see the miles we travel. They don’t see the hours we work. They don’t see the look on our face when the closest thing to home is hearing about it through the phone. How they talk about their struggles, and we can’t be there for them. I’m sure we’ve all at one point wanted to say hell with this, and go back home. But there’s a sacrifice to be made. We do it for them.
Here’s to the brotherhood and sisterhood that makes that sacrifice. May we see the day that it pays off.” -Manish solanki
I couldn’t say it better. Thanks for all to sharing my story .
