Once upon a time.
Like every child in Christmas.
She is super excited.
Bouncing all over the place,
but at December 24th
before midnight struck.

Her father had promised,
he'll give her some present.
And so, like no other Yule
they have celebrated.
She has been extra delighted
at that moment.

It will be her first time
receiving a gift!

Her family, consisting
her and her father only.
With her mother, being
out of the picture
Due to a reason
her father cannot tell her.

12 o'clock at night
she can't stop herself
coming inside her
father's chamber

Upon coming in;
The said gift welcomed her.
Big and imposing.
At the middle of the room,

She saw her father hanging.

At the foot there's a letter.
Beside the chair that has fallen.

"I remember you, wishing;
Hoping that someday,
We'll be able to have a family dinner.

Papa can make it happen.
So, honey just pull the trigger."

Lying there, is a gun
tied in red ribbons.
Along with the neighbors cheer
and wishing a merry christmas to each other.

A gunshot resounded.
The child's wish has been granted.
