As I was walking home yesterday, very late at night, had to stayed behind to revise. Exam will start soon and I can only focus in the library because my roommates are kind of rowdy and loud.
I had stepped out from the library and I felt a shadow behind me, I glanced at first but couldn't see anyone. I continued my journey while listening to some music on my phone.
I knew someone was following me the moment I saw the shadow reflection. I wanted to run but waited, what if he chased me, everywhere is silenced and no one seemed to passed by.
So I took a turn and went straight to a nearby open cafe. As I entered, a part timer told me they were closing already. My heart dropped! I saw the stalker waiting outside as if he was waiting for someone. I ran to the part timer for help. I told him my reasons, he gladly helped.
The part timer held my hand, walked me outside, he closed the cafe and walked me in front of my hostel. This time the stalker had left.
"Be careful of going out alone this time of night". The part timer said.
" I will, thank you so much". I said.
He left for his own way as I ran inside like a mad woman.
My roommates were already asleep, I locked the door twice, wrapped myself under the bed cover, and shivered in fears.
I had a thought of who he might be but still quivered if I may have know the person. I've been on everyone bad terms these days but I can't point fingers just at anyone.
Morning came, I narrated the incident to my roommates. They were worried of me. They advised me not to go out alone at night and one of them will have to escort me everywhere from now on.
I called Desmond, he told me he will start escorting me everywhere I go. I felt safe again with the help of my roommates and boyfriend. But why do I still get the feeling that I'm still being stalked?....
