Hush #3
Drums pounded in my head. "What have you done KonKon?"

"I saved you Ahana."

I woke up sweating do badly. I was sleeping in my mother's den, the walls were so bloody...what did KonKon do? Mother's lair was never like this. Never this scary, this is where she left me the last time. "Kaya," I looked around, she was nowhere to be seen. Did I kill her? I smiled a little...nope, she was just downstairs, eating in my miserable spot. "Why are you sitting in my spot!?"

"What? KonKon?"

"No! Not KonKon, KonKon needs to live in someone else's body!"

"I made my promise to KonKon, that I'd play games with her. Now don't get jealous."

"Why would I get jealous? KonKon is a childish demon that possesses the most depressing spirits."

"You are not a spirit."

"No, you're right, but I'm the most depressing dead demon around, which causes this certain spirit to thrive."

I grabbed an apple that gooshed too thick black goo. "I hate this world!"

"KonKon thinks it's funny when the apple explodes in her hand."

"Well great! Why didn't you birth the demon child!?"

"You are the demon child. This spirit...it's not a demon that possessed you, I hate to tell you this, but KonKon, is you, hun."

"Don't call me hun! Who the fuck do you think you are calling me hun!?"

"You act just like her Ahana."

"So what? She isn't a part of me, at all, not one bit. KonKon is a child, she doesn't understand this world, if only I escaped you faster, then this would have never happened."

"Never happened?"

"KonKon is the child, that you left, Ahana is me, who I became after I was abandoned in this dark castle. The sun is lovely-" I tensed up. "She told me that you-"

"Shut up," just one look at her, and she pressed her lips together. "You made me this way! I should have killed you and Onkar when I had the chance! So when you sleep during the day! Just remember what I wish for you! Just remember how badly I want to stick garlic down your throat! Better lock your damn door tonight, because when the time comes, I will find a way to kill you, I don't care how long it takes, I got out once, I'll do it again."

"KonKon shared a lovely story about you getting out...I'm afraid it just won't be possible."

"I hate you!" My hands slammed onto the table. It bothered her so much, that flinch that she had, I smiled. "That's right, you did make a promise, a promise which you only made with KonKon, so she can kiss your ass, but I will always hold it over your head, it will thrill me to see you stabbed apon a silver blade, to see the pain in your eyes, then Onkar will be next. I thought taking this out on the humans would be a nicer way to go, but you see hun, I'm stuck...in here...with you."

Ahana smiled in the most unsettling way. Kaya watched as her devil of a child walked out. "Wait...where are you heading!?"

"I'm going to find another way out of this hell!"

One hit, two hits...two hours later...

It wasn't good enough, no matter what I did, I needed more magic! The locket on my neck twirled I can't use this, not yet. Just a little time to go. I'll be stronger when the next full moon appears. I tucked that locket back behind my turtle neck. That witch, what have I done to her little girl? It's coming back to me. My head started feeling a little dizzy. "KonKon wants to play again."

"No KonKon! It's Ahana day!"

"Mommy is watching, Mommy wants to play."

"No, she doesn't KonKon! Now leave me alone!"

"You're going to starve yourself Ahana."

"Shut up KonKon!"

"Mommy! Ahana won't let me play!"

I latched onto the locket and ripped it off, "I can't live with you inside my head anymore!" I guess two years, would have to do. I tapped my forehead and then my chest. "Out KonKon, release me from this grasp, release me from this joy, I release you with what little strength I carry, for a monster cannot carry you any further." I then made my mind blank, and that was it.

"Mommy!"

KonKon jumped right out, she took the good and ripped it out of me. Was this unusual? I mean, because of our separation, I was the one with black hair like my mother, and my eyes a dark red. The little playful brat had my original looks, white hair, and pink eyes. She hugged Kaya so fast while I just stared. My willingness to feel was gone. I'm no longer KonKon, and it felt nice. I just felt hurt though. Finally, I stood up. My hand pressed onto the shield keeping me in, but I went right through it!

"Ahana!"

"KonKon...you have KonKon now."

I looked back but all I could see was a forest. "You have what you want. I have what I want," I started on my way. "KonKon wants to play."

"Go play with your father KonKon, I have to get the other side of you."

"You'll never find her. She's playing my game also."

"What...game KonKon?"

"Life doesn't go how we want it. You see, Ahana is in love, with a man. I wished to help her, but she put something on that a witch gave her, Ahana is no longer a princess, and I no longer Ahana-"

"A man!?"

"No Mommy, she didn't fall in love with a human. Worse, she fell for a spiritual man, that casts demons and monsters away. Ahana is pregnant with his child, she was so eager to leave this place that she, got hurt, then fell in love, then got pregnant. The next darkling is strong, and it's making Ahana weak. Ahana can't feed, the baby will die, it will kill her, and the baby. Ahana is fine though, she got rid of me, and her emotions will be stable in time, and so will mine. I will be the daughter that you never had."

Or so KonKon thought. KonKon had half the strength of Ahana which made her look weak in the eyes of her parents, yet she was marked as the true vampire air to the throne.

While KonKon took my place, I went off. I didn't know how long my mother was watching me. I only fed on cows. The grass around me kept decaying, and then finally the moon came around. My lover came, and he took me back to his family where they started doing chants around me trying to repair this weakness. "How are you feeling today Ahana?"

"I'm fine. I just am really tired." His kisses always made me feel something, but now, I feel nothing, it looks like KonKon was the reason I loved him. It was just once a month I saw him and this day was supposed to be special.

A special night, where we sit and watch the stars, I haven't told him yet...that's how special I needed this night to be, "Nolan, why do you keep bringing me home?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, to your family..."

"Because. I want to."

"No, it's not because you want to."

"When am I going to meet your parents?"

"I...never, they are dead, the sunburned them up a very long time ago," his bright blue eyes stared into mine. "That's too bad, that just leaves you, doesn't it?"

"Yes," I felt him nibble at my ear, it kind of made me giggle. "Tell me Ahana, my mother gave you that locket, you separated from that lunatic. What are you going to do now?"

Nolan was making my passion burn, and my desire explode. "Fuck me," with that I pushed him back and sat right on him. "Where did this come from?"

"I-I don't know, maybe this is something I feel like doing right now! Maybe because you only see me once a month!" He rolled us, now he was the one on top. "You're the strangest women I've ever met."

"Just shut up!"

"Ahana?"

We both looked up, KonKon was staring at me, along with my parents. "Come with me Ahana!"

Nolan lifted me off the grass. Our breathing pretty fast. "Damn you KonKon, what the hell are you doing bringing them here!?"

"What the hell are you doing with this man!?"

I stared at Kaya, "who are you?" I played it off, I cleared my thoughts. "Ahana, when we're you doing to tell us-"

KonKon placed her hand over her mouth. "Ahana hasn't said a single word to him."

My eyes turned over to Nolan's. "I only get one day with you." Nolan didn't smile he looked sad. "I'd love to spend more, but you always have to return. It's not fair my love," I pressed my forehead onto his. "How long have I been waiting for you to embrace me, Nolan? Too many nights to count, and you know this, I'm going to live for a thousand years and more to come, and so will you. You will watch over me when the night falls, and when the morning breaks, you disappear."

KonKon stared at Ahana, KonKon was just a child, this wasn't anything she'd understand. "It doesn't matter how wrong this is Nolan, because no matter what, I can't seem to fucking die, I've tried everything. You tried everything. My heart yearns for love, love that I am starting to warm up to again. Your warmth. You live and breathe, and yet, I'm already dead. Far apart you keep on going, for how long must I wait? How long can you despair with me? How many lonely nights should I spend without something so alive in my cold-blooded life?"

KonKon placed her hand on Ahana's shoulder. "Ahana...no more games."

"I never liked games, you little brat, now stop ruining my moment," she rolled her eyes. "It's my moment too!"

"If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be in this mess!"

"Alright, that's enough," Onkar chipped in. Ahana looked back to Nolan. "I love you so much." Nolan smiled. Just a warm soothing grin. "I love you too, and I don't know what the future holds for us Ahana...we just need to wait."
"Wait how long? I'm pregnant Nolan, look at me. I'm a sobbing mess, my boobs are sore, and I crave something that only you can give."

"Darling...I wish I could be here for you, but being a God of the stars, it means-"

"Responsibility," I nodded. "What about me then? Is this the future of my child? I can feel every bone in me ache, and every emotion fades. My lust only grows, and my heart only pains more. Your mother told me my fate," I placed my hand on his warm cheek. "I have accepted it, but for now I want to spend every last moment with you. You make me feel alive like I have something to look forwards to every single day...yet you are so far when I need you near."

KonKon's eyes were now on the tree line. "For I have wasted my breathe I nothing but nonsense?"
