I needed to go and bath, moved my little brother who was going to the bathroom after that, I went to mom. "morning mom, what do you need? I'm about to head out." "where?" mom asked. "the workshop mom" (already forgot, huh?)."
"oh! I've forgotten about that, sorry." mom chuckled.
mom:"I have been busy lately with w--"
"work, I know." cutting her off. "anyway I need to go, so..b----?"
"wait! you didn't eat breakfast though! at least eat breakfast or let me make lunch for you to take."
"ok then, how about lunch."

my annoying little brother, jicama Walked in the living room where I was waiting for my lunch and started arguing with me due to what I did earlier. yeah it was not a pretty sight, non-stop yapping... *sigh*. after receiving my lunch box I took It and bounced out of there. along the way, through the busy city of New York. i don't know how I noticed it.i was just minding my own business, eating the lunch that mom made, along the way to the subway station. At first I thought it was a bird or plane but once I zoomed in, on the object with my phone I saw something that looked like something out of a sci-fi movie. I took a pic before it dashed away.in a haze, sent the picture to two of my best friends hoping they would make sense of it even though Ria will not believe such a thing and say it Photoshopped.
Don being who he is, he would make fun or play along with it, plus he a nerd who loves everything related to sci-fi, so I figured I may as well show him. we both like stuff exactly like this, Ria not sooo much though.she is more feminine than me, she always says, "are you sure you are not a boy in disguise?" those are my friends now and forever...*smiled.*

Ria:" you finally came... late! as usual, Lora the explore".
"ha, ha, very funny."
Ria:"but seriously what was that earlier?"
lora:"the UFO I saw? I don't really know myself if I'm being honest."
Ria: "yeah, yeah, pretend as if you don't know."
half of an hour later, the workshop ended and walked to the subway station with Ria. Ria and I didn't live far from each other so this was normal for us, for other people, it was like the beauty and the beast but who cares what *they think*,we certainly didn't. 10 minutes away from home. Ria playful asked me "do you see anything now, lora?"
"oh! I think I see...a giant fish!" humoring her question, we laughed.
lora:"Ahh!... are you seeing what I'm seeing right now!?"
"what? an eagle this time?" Ria said while still laughing.
lora: "no! what? just look!"
"ok, ok. what am I supposed to be looking at?" Ria sarcastically asked.
"the ball of fire that's heading for us!

before we could even run *It* was already in front of us.

It was some kind of a creature made out of fire.while in the neighborhood "It" caused panic, some people even came to the site and... took... pictures! blogs even( people of this DAY and AGE have no regards for their lives, I'd tell you that.) looking at the crowd I saw my family----!
(what, whaaaaa-at are they doing here? don't they know that it's dangerous out here!!!!!!!!)
I rushed to their side in order to not make matters even worse but there fire creature stoped me,some random guy decided to be a hero that day and charged towards the creature with a steel cane.
what happened to him next was brutal...he hit the entity with the walking cane that he "borrowed"
the*thing* definitely flinched but at what cost...?
the fire monster grabbed the individual.
the man began screaming saying: "argh-ahh...ahhhh aghhhhh-r!
it's burning! it's burning my.... waist, please help, help meeeeeeee-ee-eh!"
he almost passed out due to the agonizing pain.we just looked at him as he slowly turned piel, not knowing what to do. meanwhile *the lord of all fires* was just getting started. I'm talking about the guy's head got burnt to a crisp.the next thing we knew he was already dead, lifeless.

my mother, leaving jicama behind came to the front of the crowd.this was already bad enough but I guess not because as soon she moved the "thing" saw her.my heart was pounding, about to burst to a hundred pieces.i Felt nauseated, my head was aching, and my vision was fading away...
slowly but surely.
when I woke up I was in some sort of an artificial laboratory.the most intriguing thing was that it had no
window just a high-tech circular looking door but where was I exactly?
I tried standing up but, "huh! why am I tied up? like I'm psycho or something."

"hey! you little girl where am I?" At the time I didn't even realize that there was someone opposite from me because I was too busy panicking.

as he was about to say something else, the door opened.

A greyish humanoid figure came into the room. he/it injected us with a kind of a chemical and said in a deep voice "it's going to be alright." and took me leaving Nick in the room tied up to the bed that was fixed on the ground. after some minutes later I fainted again.(walking alone in the darkness I walked into a giant monster but I wasn't afraid of it.it almost felt like a person that I knew of. I asked "who are you? "
"how can you even forget yourself?" the monster said in a voice that sounded a lot like mine.)
I woke up drainged in sweat. huffing and puffing, and Nick was beside me and seemed calm now. I wasn't tied up this time neither was he.
Nick called some people where I was. four individuals entered the room, one of them was a guy in a wheelchair.

Meguel was the one who was in the wheelchair, the little girl in over rolls with a African name was Matla and behind her, the woman in a military uniform who seemed like her guardian was Nina, the kid with the glasses was Allen and just then,a figure that seemed similar to the one I sa__-w, that right! now I remember."where is mom and jic---?"
