After having several 'Obanje' or what the Yorubas calls Abiku, she had another child "He will be named Dumo..." She told her husband,
"... This one will be alive. He will live after his name. Life." Chisom couldn't even argue on the fact that, the name wasn't his tribal name, all he wanted was for the boy to live and that she should be happy. She has not been happy ever since they started having their misfortunes.
Dumo lived till he was six years old. During, those years she took him to any and every prayer house and churches, she heard about and sometimes to a shrine for some sacrifices to appease whatever spirits that gave life.
One-day, while playing with other children, he slumped, the children gathered round him and one was sent to call Mama Kemi.
"Tell my mother ...." He told them ".. tell her not to cry, tell her that, I had wanted to stay but they won't let me, I had always fought them but they are too powerful....
