The Purse

The old woman dropped her purse, spilling it's contents all over the sidewalk. He rushed ahead to help her stopping short when he saw the gun under the purse. He got nervous as he watched the little old woman pick up the gun.
"Where you're manners young man!" she barked as she put the hand gun into her purse.
"Oh, yes, sorry," he nervously replied as he bent down to pick up the reminder of the fallen stuff: a tissue, a little coin wallet, lip stick, blush, several pens, and a pair of hoop earings. He then stuffed the fallen items into the open purse.
"Good! Now remember to respect your elders!" the old woman said as shshe walked away, leaving the man shaken.
