"The best part is yet to come."
'Yet to come?!' I wondered. "What is this place anyway? And.. Who are you?" I asked the girl.
She turned towards me and said, "I am you." "You... Are... Me? That doesn't even make sense! What are you talking about?" I asked her in a loud voice. She replied calmly, "I am from the future... I am you, but older." I couldn't believe my ears! "How did you come here? Has the technology evolved that fast? Woahh!! That's so cool! I've got to tell my friends!"
"No! I know how much you want to tell your friends.. Or my ex-friends.. Or.. Whatever, this is confusing.." She said with a worried face. "Ex-friends?" I asked sadly. "Sarah and Esther are not my friends in the future?"
My future self replied, "No, it's not like that. It's just that... Sarah stopped staying in contact with me.. She probably has better friends now. And as for Esther... Well, her father had to move away because of his job and she has stopped talking to me ever since. "
"What? Then we have to stop them! I don't want to lose them as friends!" I exclaimed. She tried to calm me down saying, "I know how you feel, but you shouldn't do anything or the future will change and the effect may be something much worse than how it already is. And besides, we have bigger problems to deal with for now."
