One week has passed and not much has happened. I didn't get any nightmares after that and I am glad that I didn't. There's gonna be a photo journalism competition next week and tomorrow, Friday, there will be no classes. For what reason? I don't know. I don't bother on knowing either.
"So are you gonna join the photo journa?" Addy asked and I just shrugged. I had competed in various photo journalism and taking pictures had become a hobby for me but of course, no one in this school knows that. My Dad had the same hobby so we had no less than 15 photo albums of photos we took for fun.
"Not really into cameras huh?" I am actually into cameras. "Same but my sister is crazy for them! She would take pictures 24/7." His sister? Madeline? Remember the crazy girl on my first day? It turns out her name was Madeline and the crazier thing is she happens to be Addy's sister. We're all in the same class because apparently, Addy was a troublemaker and had one delayed year.
"Good morning everyone. I'm pretty sure that you've all heard of the photo journalism competition next week. I'm really glad that we have Madeline to represent this class." Ms. Michaella said straightforwardly as she walked in. "Not only that. I've heard that we also have one talented photographer in this class." My heart started to race as she looked at me with a smile making the other students look at me with shock. "Mr. Montañano, I've read from your files that you competed and won multiple contests. It is great to have another talented student in this school." She was smiling warmly as everyone looked at me with shock well almost everyone, Madeline was glaring at me. She and I never got along so I'm not surprised.

"You totally need to join." Addy said excitedly persuading me to join the stupid competition.
"Uhh no he doesn't really need to!" Madeline groaned rolling her eyes. I don't know why she acts this way, she has always been mean towards me and I don't bother asking because I don't care.
We were walking towards the cafeteria when I decided to go to the garden. I signalled Addy that I was going. He tilted his head in confusion, this stupidhead, but nodded nonetheless. It's been a while since I took pictures and ever since Dad left us, I never took one again. The last thing Dad gave me was a small micro camera that I always brought anywhere. I took out my phone and opened the camera, scanning the surroundings with it.
I honestly didn't know what I was doing. I was just standing in the middle of the garden with my phone camera on and slowly turning around. "Hey!" I flinched when a face with a huge smile was caught by the camera.
"What?" I asked her. Ever since last week, Mitzy hang around with me. It annoyed me at first as she makes my alone and quiet time not so alone and quiet. But sometimes I didn't mind so I let her be.
"Are you gonna join?" Mitzy asked sitting on the bench. I sat down beside her shaking my head. No, I don't really plan on joining and I actually quitted since I never took a picture again. I wanted to keep my photographer background low and in the past but the stupid school files has it all written.
"Why not?" She asked handing me a can of soda. I stated at it for a full 5 seconds before taking it from her hand.
"Just because." She scrunched her nose, pouting at my response.
"Well you're joining." Mitzy added in a stern voice and furrowed forehead before standing up and leaving. I shake my head with a smirk. Like she can do anything about it.
Wait, she said I'm joining? What the hell? "MITZY WAIT!"

I just want to say that my membership is actually just the 7 day free trial. I have been looking for a good writing and reading app when I stumbled upon Writco. I had fun and I would've loved this app but unfortunately, everything revolved around a membership. I'm not rich and I'm only a minor so paying for membership is already a big struggled for me. I want to keep using this app but the least I can do is read other people's works. My membership trial expires tomorrow so this might probably be the last part of JALBO that I will be posting.
