Chapter 5
The bell rang Mark and Jo were walking down the hall heading to the cafeteria.
"So I met this girl... "
"What?!"Mark cut Jo before he could finish his sentence.
"Yes, the girl that I gave a tour to. She is new here so she probably won't have any friends. I invited her to sit with us"
"Cool"he said and smiled.

There she was. Just sitting and waiting for them. Jo pointed at her and said ...
"There she is"
They got closer to the table and sat with her .
"Hey" she said with a soft voice.
"Hi Claire, this is Mark my best friend and Mark this is Claire"
"Nice to meet you Mark"
"Nice to me you too"
There was a moment of silence which Mark decided to break.
"So... Claire if it's cool I would like to ask why did you come here?"
"That's a was rude to ask."Jo said while giving him a look.
"It's okay" Claire said without really meaning it "I moved here to see my brother".
"So, do you have any other siblings?"
"No. It's just me and my brother. My father ,my mother and sister died four years ago"

Noone talked for a while. What could someone say after this. Jo decided to take the situation into his own hands and change the topic.
"So, there is a party tomorrow night. And I just wanted to ask you if you wanna go".

She didn't know what to say. This whole school experience was something new for her and she was feeling like things where moving to fast. She didn't even know those people. What if they new about her? What if they what is really going on? She took a deap breath and reconsidered the situation. And finally said...
"Yes that would be a great" she smiled.
