Day 1.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:12 therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have."

Devotional teaching with Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa

God gave Solomon these things:

1. Wisdom
2. Knowledge
3. Wealth

Solomon was the greatest king who lived in his time. He asked for wisdom and knowledge from God, but God ended up giving him more. God gave Solomon:

● Wealth
● Riches
● Honor

Even today there's no king like him, neither will they will ever be one after him. Even you today, you can ask God what you desire, and he is capable to grant us the desires of our hearts. We serve a faithful and trustworthy father. Let your request be known to your Creator.


Day 2.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:11 God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king,

God knew the heart desire of Solomon and also Solomon himself, he was clear about what he wants God to give him. Even you today, you can open up to God and let him know your deepest heart desires you want him to do for you in this world.

Solomon, he didn't ask for these things from God :

● Wealth
● Riches
● Honor
● Asked God to kill his enemies or for his enemies to die
● He never asked for long life
But God gave him as a bonus from what He asked God to give him as a King. Remember, God knows our motives, and he also knows what he needs the most in this world. So, be specific whenever you ask God to do something for you in this world.

Day 3.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:6 Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.

Solomon was able to touch God to come down and asked Him what he wants God to do for his life. Remember, your offering, is capable to speak on your behalf and also capable to make God to respond to your heart desires. Solomon offering made God to came down to ask Solomon his request he wants God to fulfill for his life during his time as a king who was ruling a certain region or group of people. Never underestimate your offering that you give to God, and also give your offering to God with a pure heart at all times. Make sure each time you give in the temple altar of the church of God, there are no hidden motives in your heart.

Day 4.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:7 That night, God appeared to Solomon and said to him, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."

God has not stopped to appear to His chosen one, even in our generation. Even in your life, God can still appear and ask you what he wants you to do in your life. So, in everything you do don't cease to seek God and to have a certain request you desire God to do it for you in this world.

Day 5.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:10 Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?"

Every single leader who is leading people should have:

● Wisdom
● An understanding heart
● Discipline
● The fear of God
● Submissive heart
● Perseverance spirit
● Must be able to humble himself or her before God and mankind
● Teachable spirit
● Must be rooted in God word
● Must be informative about lot's things

Must be able to live a godly life and be holy before God and people. He or she must be able to control himself or herself. Learn to discipline yourself before you can want to discipline other people in leadership!

Solomon asked God for:
● Wisdom
● Knowledge

Before you can run to lead people, learn first to ask God to prepare your heart to lead his people accordingly to His will. Also ask God to fill you with everything you need for leading his people. Leadership it's not a child play but the greatest responsibility that requires Wisdom and knowledge of God.

Day 6.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:9 Now, LORD God, let your promise to my father David be confirmed, for you have made me king over a people who are as numerous as the dust of the earth.

When God made a promise to your biological father or mother, he is capable to make it come to pass in your life. Remember, God knows what promises he has made to our parents. Some of us we are enjoying the fruits of the prayers which we made by our parents in their prayer's room for us. Learn to pray for your children, including your grandchildren as a parent. God will never forget the prayers you do for your children as a prayerfully parent.

Day 7.

Scripture reading:

2 Chronicles 1:8 Solomon answered God, "You have shown great kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place.

God is capable to still show our parents great kindness. Yes, it's possible for you to be called by God as a parent and also your children to have the calling of God in their life or near future. David was a king and also his son Solomon became a king too. Remember, some calling or spiritual gifts are generation and some run through the bloodline of our families in this world. I pray that God open your eyes so that you may know your gift or calling and mission and purpose for your life in this world.
