Love hunters / Chapter 1- An awful autumn night
Jane was 17 and she was going to turn 18 in this winter. After the divorce of her parents she lived with her aunt Anne.
Jane didn't like to talk much. In her high school, she was the pro volleyball player but she won't talk to anyone and didn't reply to the boys who were interested in her.
Only Rose was the one who Jane would listen to. On an autumn afternoon, they both went out for a drive on the countryside.
It was a weekend anyway but the place they went was totally a remote area.
Jane and Rose hooked on to the whiskey they brought and drove normally when a herd of deer ran across the road in front of their car.
"What the hell was that? " Rose asked.
"Don't worry, maybe afraid a bear coming around," Jane said.
"Is it that bear you are saying about?" Rose asked pointing to a half man and half bear which was 3 meters tall.
The bear suddenly jumped towards them as their screams killed the silence of the forest.
The bear scratched and tore away Rose's head and as it touched Jane, she feel and fell until she realised she was on a bed dreaming.
'Watching horror movies has got into my head,' Jane thought as she checked her mobile.
It was 11 at night and was a calm Friday night. Jane went downstairs to get some water to drink.
As she opened the kitchen door, she saw the back door was wide open. She went to close it when a small breeze came and closed it.
Jane went for the fridge to find a bottle of water when she heard the kitchen door open.
Jane called out, "Miss Anne, are you here? "
Jane went out of the kitchen to cross a hallway and peeked in Anne's room to see her sleeping.
Suddenly, the bathroom door opened upstairs.
Jane almost freaked out but she hold on to her breath and went upstairs to check what was it.
As she opened the door, she screamed in horror to feel somebody jump over her.
Aunt Anne woke up and ran upstairs to laugh at Jane who was screaming when their pet cat Shiny jumped over her.
Jane afterwards giggled a bit for being so stupid and then asked Anne about the back door opening.
Anne told that she didn't left it open nor Shiny could for the handle was out of that stupid cat's reach.
When Jane told her what happened, Anne said that she must have dreamt it which Jane didn't.
As both of them discussed about the back door and kitchen door, they surely heard a loud tumbling and the breaking of a vase from Anne's room even when Shiny was on Jane's hands.
"Someone has broke into our house!" Anne said.
"Let me call the cops!" Jane said as she ran into her room to take her phone when they heard someone walking up the stairs and the sound of reloading a gun came instantly...
