Chapter one

"Wait....." he shouted behind me and I paused immediately, my breathing got heavier every second. I can't do this, I don't wanna do this. I felt him getting closer to me.... Suddenly I felt hot breath on my neck. "Please don't leave me" he whispered and I could hear the crack in his voice.
A tear rolled down my right cheek, I couldn't turn around I don't want to look at him. He held me tighter and I felt warm liquid on my neck.... He was crying. I couldn't believe it, I turned around to see him and there he was with eyes red as blood, dried lips and messed up hair. He looked wrecked.... I felt my heart sink at the sight, more tears flowed down my cheeks.
I reached out to touch his face.... "I'm sorry" he whispered, his voice cracking again. I couldn't say anything, I didn't know what to say. I stood on my toes and kissed him.... It felt like ages since I've done that. He kissed me back hungrily but with so much passion. He broke the kiss and I was surprised.
He knelt down before me, I was lost in thoughts. "What are you doing?" my voice still a little bit cracky from the tears. "I love you so much and I want you to know that" he said and he dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out a silver ring. I gasped and he chuckled for a second. "I've wronged you so many times I've lost count and I've made a lot of mistakes but hell I know me asking you to marry me right now is not one of those mistakes..... Will you marry me?"
