There are certain places you go by yourself, and there are places you ended because you were meant to, both changes something in you.

When I came to pune and was looking for a flat on rent, found just the perfect 1bhk flat, withing my budget, I felt so lucky.
I entered the flat for the first time and it felt heavy, like something grabbed me and took more effort to move my body than it normally does. Neighbours, an uncle and an aunty lived across the hall gave me a stare as if I was in the wrong place.

The first night I spent there, I was unable to sleep, the air was really suffocating, although all the windows were open. I could see kitchen from my bedroom, and suddenly I saw a white shadow move from hall to kitchen.I got up but wasn't sure whether it was what I actually saw or was just a dream. I went back to sleep anyway. After a while I could see a white figure standing in kitchen staring at me, went to check, it was a light coming from outside but it's shape was looking different when viewed from bedroom.

I spent 9 days there, and on 9th night, while sleeping, I could hear someone wearing anklets, walking then running in the next room. I rushed to check but found no one. Suddenly heard someone crying in the bathroom, as I opened it, it was empty too.

Somehow I spent the night and went to neighbours the next morning with lots of questions. The aunty told me, a guy hanged himself in that flat and another couple was found dead, as they killed each other.
I informed the owner and got out one the very same day.
That feeling is still fresh, that i never wanna feel again
