The Accident
"Babe I am on the train. Let me reach home and then scold me as much as you want" she was begging him.
"I don't care where you are. You always make mistakes and I am the one who suffers. I just can't take it anymore" he replied in an angry tone.
"I didn't mean to make you angry babe."
"Just shut the fuck up. Don't irritate me anymore. I don't know why am I even talking to you."
"Please don't be angry babe. I am on the train and my phone's battery is low. Don't be angry. I will let you know when I get down. And I will call you after I have dinner."
"Better don't call me again" he was irritated.
"I will call you. Bye babe. I love you".
The call disconnected.
Almost four and half hours passed. There was neither a call nor a text from her. According to the time, she should have reached her home. Although he was still angry, he took out his phone and dialed her number.
"The number you have called is currently switched off" came the reply.
He called a few times but everytime the reply was the same.
Maybe she forgot to switch on her phone. She is such an idiot. Let her call and I am gonna scold her, he thought to himself.
Suddenly he heard his father's voice calling for him from downstairs. The voice sounded quite panicked. He immediately rushed down to see what's wrong.
"Can you tell me the train's name in which she is traveling?" asked his father.
"She is traveling in the Chennai-Howrah Mail. Why?"
His father was shell shocked from hearing that and just pointed towards the television inside the bedroom.
He immediately ran inside to see what's wrong. His worst nightmare was actually shown in the news.
"Train number...
