kelvin rogers
Act 1, scene 2

(The scene opens with Kelvin and his friends in the studio. The school principal had granted them 20 minutes every Monday to read their poems and deliver motivational speeches. John was not pleased with Kelvin and Michealfor using some of kelvin dad poems without permission, so he left them both in the studio.)

As they reached the studio, Kelvin and Michael started setting up their equipment while discussing the theme of their poems. Kelvin was excited to share his dad's powerful words with the school, but Michael felt guilty about not writing his own piece.

Just as they were about to start, John stormed into the room, his face filled with anger. "I can't believe you guys would do this. Stealing someone else's work is not right," he scolded them.

Kelvin tried to defend himself, saying that he just wanted to inspire and motivate the students, but John wouldn't hear it. He was disappointed in his friends and didn't want to be associated with their dishonesty.

The tension in the room was palpable as the three friends argued. Eventually, John stormed out, leaving Kelvin and Michael to start their presentation without him.

As they began, the weight of John's words hung heavily in the air. Despite their best efforts, Kelvin and Michael couldn't shake off the guilt of plagiarizing. Their performance lacked the usual energy and passion, leaving the audience feeling underwhelmed.

After they finished, the principal approached them, praising their usual talent but noting that something felt off today. As the rest of the school filed out of the studio, Kelvin and Michael were left feeling ashamed and regretful.

As they packed up their things, they realized the impact of their actions and the strain it had put on their friendship with John. They knew they had to make it right, but they weren't sure how.

The curtain falls as they both stand in silence, contemplating the consequences of their choices.

(Meanwhile, in the classroom)

Teacher: (entering) Good morning, class. I have someone new student to introduce to you all. This is Ava, she's just transferred to our school. Please make her feel welcome.

(Ava enters the classroom, her presence captivating everyone)

Ava: (nervously) Hi everyone, I'm Ava. It's nice to meet all of you.

Teacher: Ava, you can take a seat at the back next to John, the class captain.

(Ava takes her seat, her beauty and presence leaving the classroom in awe)

Michael: (whispers to Kelvin) Wow, she's stunning. I can't believe she's in our class.

Kelvin: ( was lost in thoughts, her aroma, her smile, her eyes, he couldn't stop staring at her , as she sat opposite next to him.) whispering back to Micheal sure she is stun....ni...ng.

Michael: (smirking) I can see that, mate. You've got it bad.

Kelvin: (blushing) I can't help it, she's just... incredible.

Michael: Well, why don't you go talk to her? It's not every day you meet someone who leaves you speechless.

Kelvin: (nervously) I don't know, man.

Michael: You won't know unless you try. Trust me, she's worth it.

Kelvin: (taking a deep breath) Okay, I'll do it. Thanks, buddy.

Michael: (grinning) Good luck. And don't screw it up.

Kelvin: (smiling) I'll do my best.
