It's about 4 pm and a call comes in, before I take it I do that thing where you think on what you might say and make sure it's correct before speaking, I tell myself "it's afternoon not morning, don't say good morning."
I accept the call and the speaker on the other side says good morning. Immediately after he says:

I don't know why I said good morning.
