Sleepless nights

I came home in a merry mood. By the time I reached ,my parents were already there. They were arguing about some matter, maybe it's related to the case they were working on or maybe it's her birthday. I hoped everything was right. I entered silently, seeing me come,my parents stopped fighting at once and my father said “Oh, honey you are home ,how was the party?” “ It was good ” I replied. “Did you have some fun?” my father asked. “Yeah I did” I said in cheerfully. “Good, then why don't you go get some rest, you might be tired.” Papa said. “Sure” I said and obediently went to my room as I don't want to push the topic or get involved in their fight.

My room was still messy with all the clothes that got rejected, lying around. I decided to clean them the next day( that means, never) and took a shower. In the shower ,I was still thinking about how good my party was and maybe I and Karan can be a thing like a real relationship. But still there's something that isn't right, something is nudging my mind constantly but I don't know what. Have you ever been in a situation where...
