In a town there used to be a bank. The bank being managed by the manager. He was good at manipulating his seniors by his words. He was not a hard working person, just a man with big mouth and best at buttering the seniors. The seniors always believed him and were in disbelief that he is hard working manager.
After three years he got transferred and a new manager came to manage the branch. He was a very hard working person. Working hard to do right the wrong the predecessor has done. He was used to work hard but speak less or rather didnot believed in boasting. The seniors were like "you do nothing and not a hard working man. You are good for nothing!"
One day the manager fell ill and took the day off from the bank. The seniors on the same day did a surprise visit and saw the chair empty and told the clerk "the previous manager was good and hard working, this manager is not good enough." But the world knows and believes the truth never can be kept hidden for a long. The clerk was not able to take it anymore and spilled out " the previous manager was just good at buttering you and I haven't seen him working in my 2 years job as a clerk here. The present manager is 100 times more efficient and hard working than the previous one. He works very hard." The senior then left the branch.
The senior still continued to treat the present manager in a rude way, because he believed in working not buttering or telling lies like the previous manager.
Whatever you do, whatever happens, how much truthful or hardworking you are, remember some people just need people who keep licking their feet everytime, all the time!
