"Have you ever lost someone or more than one person in your life? And that people are very important to you, they have a place in your heart," the teacher said.

I sifted my position when her looks darted at me. The same expression that can make me shiver was evident on her face. I forced a smile.

"Mrs. Scott. Wanna share your experienced about losing someone in your life?"

Selena is my cousin's teacher. We hang out sometimes. And so I admitted to myself that she's now a part of my life.  The children clapped their hands wanting me to stand in front and do what their teacher asked me a while ago.

"Okay."

I obediently stood there. I sighed and smiled at them.

"I-I have a husband."

Teacher Selena tapped my shoulder before she nodded. Well, she knows about my story tho.

"He become my lover before."

The children are so silent making me feel nervous.

"He is a detective... before. He became one of the agents of the International Intelligence Service but after he got fired, he choose to be a soldier. We met in my coffee shop. He became my regular customer."

"So did he court you?" one of the children asked.

I smiled at her and nodded.

"He is a great joker. Instead of doing his job, he spends his time entertaining me at the coffee shop and helping me too. It happened that my best friend, Lara, knows him. Because they are both agents before. When Glenn Scott confessed his feelings for me I am in the stage of denial. I dumped him twice. But later on, he confessed again and again and again until I realized my true feelings for him."

They are all so attentive. For them the story of my life is one of the best stories in the world, you'll regret you didn't read it.

"We spent our 4 years together. Sleeping, cuddling- ahem. He cooked for me too. He is such a boyfriend material."

"I can see that you are so in love with him. Your eyes are twinkling," someone commented.

After hearing those words children laughed and so do I.

"After 2 years he proposed. I said yes. I am happy... Not until my best friend told me about their past. And… and ahm..."

I started trembling. Selena held my hand.

"And her best friend wants Glenn to come back."

I can't tell them about the scandal. They are not mature enough to understand that kind of situation.

"Can you continue?" Selena mumbled.

I nodded at her.

"But Glenn told her about our wedding. He told her he loves me so much. Okay, so my best friend was sorry. She asked me to forgive her because she tends to ruin our relationship. We continued to live our life. And then we got married."

They screamed in happiness which made me laugh a bit.

"But where is he now, Mrs. Scott?" they wondered.

I was stunned for a while. Yeah? Where is he now?

I started crying.

"On his mission, one of his buddies called me telling me Glenn got shot in his left leg. We rushed there. Not knowing they are surrounded by their enemies, someone tried to shoot me. Glenn died saving me... and my best friend died saving him. I got rescued... but I've lost the love of my life."

My hero and soldier died saving me, the man who promised to grow old with me died saving me.
