"The forgotten Crime"
#WritcoStoryPrompt43
The scandal could ring the death of his career. The naked woman in his bed lay with unseeing eyes staring at him. He stood over her with a knife in his hand and no memory of who she was or why he had killed her...

"As he gazed into her lifeless eyes, a chill ran down his spine. He tried to recall anything about her - her name, their meeting, the events leading up to this moment. But his mind was a complete blank. Panic set in as he realized the gravity of the situation. He was a prominent businessman, a respected member of society, and now...now he was a murder suspect.

With trembling hands, he put down the knife and backed away from the bed, his eyes fixed on the woman's pale skin. He stumbled into the bathroom, splashed water on his face, and tried to clear his foggy mind. Think, think, think! But his memories remained elusive.

As he returned to the bedroom, his gaze fell on a piece of paper on the nightstand. A note, scribbled in red ink: 'You'll never remember. You'll never escape.'

Suddenly, the room began to spin. He felt like he was trapped in a nightmare. The scandal, the murder, the mysterious note...his career, his freedom, his sanity - everything was at stake.

With a surge of adrenaline, he grabbed his phone and dialed a number. 'I need your help,' he said, trying to keep his voice steady. 'I think I've killed someone.'"
