It has been years at Pat's Orphanage. All the other girls and boys are rude and noisy. I'm just staying calm and beat-beat-beating a rhythm on my wooden bed.
It hurts to sleep in.
I had an amazing idea last night. I thought out loud, "Why can't I just run away throughout this island?"
No one would miss me if I just left the orphanage. Jesse and Pat are too busy kissing and flirting with each other to bother about the kids.
There is this little boy at this orphanage, though. I think he would miss me. He's 3 years old and he came last week. His name is Maatiaas.
Maatiaas was confused when he came. I showed him the whole building. Somehow, he just knew me so well.
"You are Kreena Bishop!" He told me my last name when he first came.

Anyway, my plan is:

1) Find Maatiaas' bed
2) Get Maatiaas
3) Jump out window
4) Leave forever

It's a perfect plan...
Maatiaas thinks so too.

Tomorrow night= action!
