We parked the car just outside of the city gates and ran to the outskirts of the buildings.
"Remind me again why I agreed to this?!" I said the panic was starting to rise and I could feel the anticipation in the air.
"Because if we help him get in then we could also get into the safe haven." Joey said
"Right that makes plenty sense." I said
I looked around the corner .
"Coast is clear." I said and ran down the street. The huge skyscrapers towering over us as we ran down the street.
"All we have to do is get to the middle of the city and we'll be safe." Lucas said
We ran down the streets. I clinged to Joey's hand not ready to let him go until we were safe. He didnt seem to mind either....
