A few months ago, I traveled to another province to take my driving test. I was scared and nervous, especially when I found out that some of the other candidates had failed the test three or five times before.

Despite their own fears, some of the applicants were supportive, helping me to calm down and encouraging me.

When my turn finally came, I was touched to see the people in the waiting room cheering me up, giving me thumbs up with excitement and enthusiasm, while others had their hands on their hearts, others holding back their breath, others praying for me succeed.

When I passed the exam, they jumped,shouted and clapped with joy, their encouragement making the moment even more special, despite the fact that I was alone away from home.

The support and kindness from these strangers made all the difference to me.
