There once was an app for poets to use
Free and quite basic but the crowd were great too
I wrote on there poems and hundreds of songs
Seven hundred and odd
This app couldn’t do wrong

Then they brought in a subscription fee
No choices to choose from
It’s cash or you leave
I had no option for with which to pay
I don’t have an account so that’s that I’m afraid

Because I had been there almost from the start
I wrote them an email and said
“ have a heart ?”
I said.. " it’s Kat Maddi😻!!..
The team all know me!! ”
But they wrote “ yes it’s sad but it’s how it will be ”

I can be a nuisance but only in fun..
I don’t do malice or ‘hate’ anyone
This app served a purpose now it’s time to move on
Goodbye Poetizer I’m sad to be gone
And so I told all of the ‘tizer team
I wish you the best and what fun it has been

The fee may be tiny, to most it’s real small
But others like me we don’t do banks at all
I only do cash in this new cashless world
Where money is numbers without corners all furled

So I went on the hunt for another free app
One with an option for members to chat
But all those I tried were just adverts and slow
Until my mate @Stosh told me about this ‘Writco’

It’s one I’d not heard of , not on the ‘App store’
But I searched it and Boom!
I couldn’t have wished for more
It’s all that I’d dreamt of when first I set out
For a place where my whispers could be turned to shouts

I’m so glad I found you
Remember that day ?
When the army of Poetizers all came your way
And in our rush and our excited fervor
We managed to break the Writco server!

But all was well and you patched it right up
The flow of the poetizers running amok
But now we’re all here and we’re all settled in
Poetizer who ?
Oh that went in the bin
