Arkhandia. Chapter 1; The Project.
A sapphire blue sky draped over Arkhandia as a small framed maiden walked through a golden field, one that seemed filled with corn. Her slender fingers glided over their surface, providing her so some type of satisfaction as her gaze roamed over the landscape. She then halted at the edge of a cliff, aquamarine waves hitting against the ashen gray facade every now and then. As her amethyst orbs observed the horizon she grew absentminded, her thoughts occupied by an upcoming project of great value. The ruler of the kingdom had heard of her talents and the creativity she used to conceive certain jewelry, so dared to request a particular concept.
After a few supplementary breaths of salted air she would exhale deeply, attempting so to shake the anxiety off. The item she needed to create was supposed to be gifted to the future queen, a beautiful lady with amber eyes. The endings of her iridescent mahogany locks reached right underneath her voluptuous cleavage, one that seemed to be covered most of the time by a mesmerizing silken dress. It was obvious that her attires were made on the spot by the most skilled tailors to fit her curves perfectly, meaning that she was very difficult to please.
Eventually, Elimena decided to enter her small but secret residence which stood tall on the previously mentioned cliff. Most thought she would live above her shop in town, but that was such an easy assumption that it left her to be peaceful when she would work in her atelier. Said workshop would be in the basement, a candle lit room with all tools, gems and other materials she required. As she polished a golden ring that beheld a ruby she would hear someone knock on her oak wooden door, something very surprising as nobody had found this place just yet.
Curiosity got to her so she stood up and went upstairs, but out of caution she opened up with a petite crossbow. Recognizing the man that stood in front of her immediately, shock made her drop her loaded weapon, an arrow accidentally sizzling next to the rim of his ear. Instead of scolding her like any individual would do after such a scare, Sargon chuckled while shaking his head, an amused expression lingering upon his face.
A velvet red hue tainted her porcelain like cheekbones, a nervous smile curving her coral and plump lips due to embarrassment. She didn’t mean for the arrow to harm him in any way, luckily, that was something he knew all too well. Averting her eyes after meeting with his own, she bit her lower petal, growing timid before eventually stepping backwards. As he entered her residence the small framed woman would pick the crossbow up, his piercing gaze giving her the feeling of getting burned.
« M.. My lord.. May I know the reason behind this unexpected visit.. ? And perhaps.. Also how you found this place.. ? » ; her words were soft and her accent was foreign to this kingdom, giving her a gentle but exotic charm. Yet, they stumbled out due to confusion, the greetings now being entirely forgotten. As she brushed one of her auburn locks behind her left ear, she averted her amethyst gaze in shame, still not comfortable after what happened at the entrance of her home.
