A desire to be invincible, masked by resilience…
To believe you’re invincible is also to believe you’ll never succumb to death. That you will never die. We all die; Nobody is invincible. Everybody has things happen to them out of their own control. Perhaps this is why the narrative needs to be changed— that being an invincible superhero, warrior, knight or person… only teaches people, especially children; To want to be always be resilient. When are they allowed to cry and feel? How often do you see superhero’s crying? They often remove themselves and hit rock bottom… before they re-emerge and fight again; Before they can be welcomed back into their community of friends. So doing good is great— but you have to fight the good cause for everybody if you have the chance to. Otherwise you’re letting them down, otherwise you’re not welcome. Otherwise… you’re no longer valuable. It seems people don’t like to watch content where someone is crying too much… it’s not valuable when you need to learn how to fight. You have to be void of emotion so that you are ‘strong enough’ to win. Why is it always a fight?! Why is this the way the human race must be?!
