Whenever we append our signatures to documents, we have identified with the information on the documents, we have shown our involvement in the details, our Identity has engaged and we have given our consent and commitment to the documents such that wherever the document get to, we will take full responsibility for every detail in the document.
Our signatures are unique to us. It is our legal identity and bond to whatever we have put it on. Ideally, no two persons should have the same signature; it may look alike but shouldn't be the same. In simple terms, our signature is our identity. It goes farther than we can go in person. It can open doors and opportunities for us or other, the same way it can land us in trouble.
As much as our written signatures are appended on written documents, the most Parmanent signatures are the unwritten ones appended on the things we do.
The things we do carry our signatures, the way we do things, the things we say, the way we live, our lifestyles, our uniqueness, our abilities and inabilities all carry our signatures.
Too many times we take for granted the things we do. When we do things poorly and carelessly, the signature carries your name and an appellation that you are careless and not dilligence.
When you take things for granted, the signature that comes with your name is that you are lackadaisical. When you are hard-working and have love for your job, your signature is that of prudence and dilligence. The list goes on and on. The message is that we must be intentional about our actions because every impression we make is a signature appended in the minds of others. Our signatures on the things we do will outlive us so we must use it well and right.
