That one Mistake
It's her first day in the training center. Sipping morning's tea with a sigh of relief she was completing all the joining formalities. After all it was two long years she had prepared for this government job.Patting on her back was her Dad, feeling proud with every moment that her Aisha made his dream come true.
Aisha the first government officer from her family, was taking her moment of bliss. A she was relaxing, she forgot she was holding her thirst for so long. Her mouth feeling dry with every moment. She suddenly gets up and rushed towards the water cooler at the corner of the floor.
Bam! she thuds in to a bug red fluffy jacket guy. Her spects fell down on the floor, luckily it didn't break. The guy suddenly gets to his knees to pick it up. Eh, Am So, Am Sorry, Please take it , says Kabir.
Kabir a tech wizard, was a confused soul still meddling through his career to hit a right job role. He just made it on 09:58 hours. At 10:00 AM the registrations were to close.He rushed towards third floor of AIPA,Mumbai where the registration and orientation were going on.As he kept moving swiftly through the stairs skipping two steps at time, hia lungs were exploding.
Standing at the door of hallway, he was running through his document when he ran in to this clumsy girl, Aisha.
At first when he picked up the spects he could not take off his eyes of that glittering face ,there was something serene and peaceful about those eyes, it took Kabir to a moment of peace, the depth of seas in those two window of soul calmed the chaos he had in his life.Kabir picked up the spects and said Mmm "I am sosorry miss, I really am, please take it .
He rushed to the trainer although he left a piece of heart at that moment of crash.All shabby, he kept his file on the table and said Sorry Maam I m late, I am late. Please accept this , don’t disqualify me. Its my first government job.
Palak Maam, the HOD of AIPA Mumbai, asked why are you so late. Kabir smiles just gazed into her eyes and tells Maam it’s a long story, now that i have arrived we can keep talking.
Palak Maam smiles what is with this guy, so chaotic, confused yet enigmatic. She asks what is your background Kabir. He said, I am an Engineer Maam. She replied, half of these 50 odd officers are from engineering background. Here comes one more to the bunch.
Palak Maam asked which college, Kabir hesitated and told,' just regular one, Ma'am'. Palak holding the documents finds that he is from IIT Delhi. Surprised she asks , great you are an IITian, Palak herself an IITian though MBA graduate.
She looked in to Kabir's eyes and asks you are from IIT why are you here. Aisha's Dad who was engrossed in his mobile suddenly looks at Kabir. Thud again an the door!
Aisha enter quickly without making any further noise and sits beside her Dad who tells her that there is something about this guy.
As the registration process got over, Aisha and her Dad stopped Kabir when he was rushing back to collect the bag he left behind at the entrance gate as he was entering the institute.
Aisha's Dad asks Beta, IIT se ho. What are you doing here. Kabir said-nothing uncle, I am broke and took this job to pay my bills.
Aisha looks at Kabir like what is this guy, so random and chaotic but gets mesmerised in to his eyes every moment looking at him. She kept staring at him unknowingly while her Dad was conversing with Kabir.
Stifling into her hairs and setting her specs, She said: You know, we were both the last ones to arrive today Kabir.
