That corner guy
School bell rang.... 🔔 trin...trin..
It's Monday afternoon lunch time in that noisy classroom..
In a section of 41 students most of them left for lunch break..
On one side corner of the classroom was a boy sitting all by himself.
He's somewhat peculiar that his classmates couldn't decode.
Shy, introvert and average looking which attracts mostly nobody in school premises.
On the other side there's group of 4 friends who hang out there every day in lunch break, share their food and give each other company.
For them this corner guy was a creep who has no social skills and most of the time their group conversation ended up being mocking him for being what they think as 'weird and creepy'.
This day was no different, soon the break got over and classes resumed

Ok.. now after 3 hrs of intense boring classes again the bell
🔔 rang...trin...trin..
It's time to go home...
Everyone left except that guy,
For him empty classroom was something of joy, it helps him to think or that's what he says.
But wait...!!
There was someone else!!?..
Oh.. it's that girl from the lunch group 🤔
Ok.. now he feels weird..
' what's she still doing here'?!
She looks sad☹️
Ok now this was his out of comfort zone..
He asks her "what's wrong?"🤔
She was surprised!!😲
This was first time maybe she heard him talking
She " Why do u think something's wrong?"
He " I may not talk that much but I'm not an idiot"🤨
She " why do u care?"😑
He " I care because u r my classmate and I know you are sad"🙄
She " Oh sorry, we had different opinion about you "😒
He " I know and I can't control what people think of me, but what's happening to you"🤔
She " I heard my friends talking s**t about me "😔
He "oh, sorry to hear that but that's not your problem to worry, you care about them that's why you are sad.
Look that's what I earlier said 'you can't control what people think about you but can control how you react to them ' right?!"🧐
She " So?! I'm supposed to be ok with it?!"🤨
He " No, but you can take something from this situation right,
if you feel sad and angry will they feel bad for what they did to you?!"🤔
She " No.."😕
He" So now you have licence to be yourself around them because you don't want to please them anymore right?!"😶
She" yeah!"😐
He " That's the freedom for you"😇
She " Thank you for that 😊"
He " Look, I know you guys think I'm a weirdo and a creep for being what I'm but remember just because some people are nice and funny around you doesn't make them good and trustworthy..

Just like that the corner guy left the room with a smile on his face, maybe a sense of accomplishment!!
