My brother."

She likes him, they were bestfriends since like they were in 4th Grade.

You might think that it's incest but it's not.
He's not blood related to her, they're not even related at all.
But she does treat him like a real sibling.

As clichè as it gets, yes he's older than her, and no they aren't together.

He once liked her,
She still likes him,
but you can quite say that their feelings aren't mutual anymore.

He had a new girl bestfriend and as a sibling she supports him.

The new girl and her brother always goes out;
They went out to play,
They went out to parks
They went out to eat.
Inshort, they were dating.

She realized this oh-so-soon, but she managed to croak her confession to him, even though it's too late.
Her confession wasn't a big deal, atleast to him.

He confronted her, it was awkward.
He rejected her, it was heart-breaking.
Then they moved on, till this day forward, they aren't talking anymore, but they're still siblings in the eyes of others.
