Man known as Nana Kwame has met his untimely death by an unknown assailants in Twumasikrom in Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region.

After the incident which occurred on Thursday July 1, the family of the deceased, accused the Assemblyman Hon. Appiah Tizaabom and one Wofa Attah in constituting in the killing of their beloved.

But in an interview with Hon. Appiah on Silver Omanbapa Morning Show with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum, he said although the family of the deceased is pointing fingers on him for having a bloody hand in the killing of their beloved but said he knows nothing about it.

He said , he had a complain from the wife of the deceased ,Mad. Afia Cynthia and other person that, Nana Kwame has threatened to kill someone with a cutlass he's holding, so he reported him to the police arrest him which he run away to his in-law place but they were able to bring him back to Twumasikrom on Wednesday.

According to the Assemblyman , he was handed to Wofa Attah for them to keep him as it was in the night, so in the next morning he made up his mind to go and check up on him and what he could hear is , the death of Nana Kwame by unknown persons.

Wofa Attah, who was accused by the family members is in Nsoatire police custody to aid investigations into the matter.

The body of the deceased has conveyed to Sunyani Regional Hospital for autopsy.
