Chapter 26: Late night drives..







I grabbed my bag with some of my packed clothes and left.. As i was about to leave i saw my mom chatting with Enzo.. "Mom?" I asked confused..

She turned to me with a delighted face.."Ben! You didn't tell me that your boyfriend was coming over for dinner!"

I blushed.. "M-Mom! I just met him yesterday and his NOT my boyfriend!" I whined..

"He's just here to pick me up for a sleep over in one of our friends" I pouted..
Mom chuckled.. "I know, I'm just teasing you.. Go on.. Enjoy the night!" Mom said as she guide us out of the house..

As we are driving we are both silent.. But it's so unbearable to be honest.. Does he hate me now?

Enzo's point of view:

As i was driving down the empty road i noticed Ben..
By his head hung low and vy his eyes he seems uncomfortable.. Which made me concerned..

"Ben" I mumbled.
He turned to me with a adorable face with no smile.. "What?" He said in a soft tone..

"You okay?" I muttered in a low tone..
"Yeah.." He Stuttered..
Is this about the nickname? Meh.. He doesn't even probably care..

I think Ben is not the type of person who wears his heart on his sleeve.. Unlike me.. That's why i always left with broken hearts..

"E-Enzo?" He turned to me.. I glanced at him.. "What is it?" I asked him..
"Did i do—Nevermind.. I'm probably just hungry.. Can you stop by to the nearest convenient store i just wanna stop by for some snacks" He said.

Okay.. That's was weird.."Sure" I obliged.. As we are driving looking for the nearest convenient store i asked Ben, "Are you still bothered about the stalker?"

Ben's point of view:


Because of my brain flooding about Enzo i almost forgot about the stalker..
My only option is to lie so he won't notice about how the nickname made me stress about.. Everything i had between me and Enzo..

The friendship I've built.. "Yeah.. About it.. I'm just worried that it would harm Amanda and my mom" i lied..



Enzo's point of view :


Typical Ben.. Even though i just met him yesterday i can always tell by his personality..

He always put other people first before himself.. "Don't worry you'll be fine.. Even when i have to die" I smiled at hime, gleefully..

Ben's point of view:


What does he meant by that..? Does he love me back? Oe it's just a best friend thing i didn't know?

Sigh.. Whatever it is what's important to me right now is maintaining the good relationship I've built with him nothing else more..
