Yvonne had never run this way in her entire life

Her name still hovered all over like a cool breeze

"Yvonne....?"

Her eyes ached and her head throbbed

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine..."

Yvonne stared at her sister and the newborn she cradled

"I'm fine," she said finally and pointed to the kitchen.

"Usekwu..."

"Bia," Zuri gestured to her sister. There was a flow of Nigerian Igbo

"Do you still have those sights?"

"Do I look like I do?"

"For God's sake?"

"I don't.."

Zuri shook her head."This argument is not necessary."

"What then do you want?"

"Today's Chi's Birthday.."

There was an outstretched hand.

"Here, take it."

Yvonne obliged and glared at the picture for many seconds

Tears began to form in her round eyes as she gripped her lips

Unhurriedly, the tears soaked up the picture piece and there was silence for what seemed like forever...
